"We had a fabulous 4 night stay here in Verzy. We drove to the property, and chose Verzy as we were exploring Champagne, and had a picnic booked at Veuve Ciquot which you can walk to from the property. We were only 2 people, but had the whole villa to ourselves. A really well equiped kitchen, air con in the bedroom, lovely bathroom, and some gorgous additional rooms. We had hoped to do a champagne tasting, but Laurent was busy with harvest etc, so totally understand he was too busy. We did though try one of the champagnes."

"We truly enjoyed our time here. The villa is beautiful, equipped and spans 3 floors - we were 11 people, including couples, and everyone had privacy. Easy to park if you’re renting a car. We also really like their champagne and bought many bottles. Thank you very much to our super host Laurent!"

"We stayed here for 3 nights and also did a tasting and we would highly recommend! The accommodation is enormous and extremely well maintained! We loved the large dining area and circular champagne tasting room in the turret! We also did a tasting which was brilliant and I genuinely thought it was some of the nicest champagne we had whilst travelling around (and we drank a lot of it!) The accomodation is placed perfectly amongst the vines so that you can have a lovely walk around. There’s also nice walks in the Forrest about a 5-10 mins drive away. It’s about 15-20 mins drive away from Riems and Verzy the nearest village is a very beautiful quaint little place that you can walk to in approximately 20 minutes which has a boulangerie, bar, restaurant and multiple champagne houses. All in all I definitely recommend!"

"Laurent was a fabulous host, he was accommodating and very personable. The house was stunning and absolutely spotless. We had a fantastic stay and took part in the champagne tasting on site which was so informative. Nothing was too much trouble including accommodating the extra room we required. It was a beautiful and serene setting and just what was needed for our break. Would definitely recommend the house and area. Although a little quiet I would imagine at harvest time this little area would definitely be full of life. Thank you Laurent it was a pleasure to meet you and thank you for a wonderful stay"

"We were three generations of a family staying together and there was plenty of space. The property has been fully renovated to a high standard and was very comfortable. The dining area was well equipped with glasses and plates etc. The children loved seeing the horses in the stables across the courtyard. The location is great for exploring the champagne region although you probably do need a car to do this. We enjoyed visiting Épernay and doing a tour of a champagne house and visiting Reims cathedral on another day. The Pierre Monnaie champagne was wonderful too!"
